WHAT IS BROAD SPECTRUM CBD?

Broad Spectrum CBD products are created by taking Full Spectrum extract and further processing it to remove trace amounts of THC. Broad Spectrum products contain an array of naturally occurring cannabinoids, plant terpenes, flavonoids, vitamins, minerals & plant proteins of the original hemp source. These compounds work together in what is known as the “Entourage Effect,” multiplying the potential health benefits.

WHAT DOES CBD HAVE TO DO WITH WELLNESS?

Each one of us are born with an Endocannabinoid System (ECS) in our bodies which regulates every metabolic process in the body, such as pain sensation, immunity, stress management, temperature regulation, sleep, and more. Just like muscles need protein to become stronger, your Endocannabinoid System also needs nutrients (called cannabinoids) to function properly to reduce pain, inflammation, anxieties, or other maladies in the body. That’s where Cannabidiol (or CBD) comes in – a very healthy nutrient. According to many researchers, CBD may be the single most important cannabinoid ever discovered.

CBD vs. THC

THC (Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol) is the psychoactive portion of cannabis and is commonly found in marijuana in higher amounts and is very low (if any) in the hemp plant.

CBD is “a cannabinoid devoid of psychoactive effect.” In other words, you can’t get “high” from CBD. WHY THE WHOLE PLANT MATTERS

In the industrial market, buying CBD by itself as an extract is several times less expensive than buying CBD still intact with the rest of the healthy Phyto cannabinoids inside (such as CBN, CBG, CBD-A, CBD-V, Terpenes, and so much more). The Process Behind the Products

LIPID PHASE

In phase 1, the Lipid Phase, functional ingredients including CBD, terpenes, and other botanicals, are mixed at a proprietary temperatures.

WATER PHASE

In phase 2, the Water Phase, water-based surfactants are mixed at proprietary temperatures.

HOMOGENIZATION

The formulation undergoes high-speed homogenization which results in the formulation avg. size in nanometers. The output is the FKI proprietary transdermal technology.
